Iron Girl is one of the premiere running and Triathlon series for women in the US and internationally. Iron Girl events take place annually in the United States and nationwide. Iron Girl international events are also organized in Austria, France, Italy and Spain. Iron Girl aspires to provide women of all ages an opportunity to partake in energetic, motivating and exciting events to further their active lifestyle!

Though Iron Girl is just over a decade old, it’s got quite an interesting history. The first of the Iron Girl’s triathlon and running events for women took place in 2004. Due to the success of past events and the consistency in which Iron Girl hosts them yearly, it has quickly risen in popularity and developed quite a loyal community/ following.

Since it’s conception and launch in 2004, Iron Girl has seen some dramatic changes. These days, females can participate in a 5k, half marathons, Triathlons and Duathlon events!

Iron Girl is known as a popular sporting event for women that has been created BY women FOR women. The main goal of the event is to promote a healthy lifestyle among women who are, or are looking to lead an active lifestyle. So, Iron Girl triathlons and running events encourage women to improve their well-being, achieve their health and fitness goals.

As mentioned earlier, Iron Girl is an event that unites women of all ages. Given the constant growth in popularity and the consistently increasing Iron Girl community, new programs are added from time to time.

Iron Girl events are ideal for both beginners and professional athletes alike. It provides participants with the perfect opportunity to set a goal, train and subsequently test their cycling, running and swimming skills.

Iron Girl 2016 Events

Iron Girl is organizing and hosting several international events in 2016. These events are kicked off in Clearwater, FL with a half marathon and 5K. The currently announced event list is as follows:

• Half Marathon & 5K (April 10, 2016),
• Syracuse Sprint Triathlon & Duathlon (August 7, 2016),
• Grimsby, Canada Sprint Triathlon (August 7, 2016),
• Vancouver, Canada Sprint Triathlon (August 7, 2016),
• Columbia Sprint Triathlon (August 7, 2016),
• Pleasant Prairie Sprint Triathlon & Duathlon (August 14, 2016) as well as
• Sandy Hook Sprint Triathlon & 5K (September 11, 2016).
